Match Official Duties:

Chief Judge Duties (1):

• Inspect the playing area, ensuring it meets safety standards.
• Check the players’ nails, ornaments and uniforms for compliance.
• Conduct a meeting with team captains, explaining rules and emphasizing fair play.
• Performing the toss
• Set up the game clock and ensure it is synchronized with the referee’s whistle in each round start and at the end (Amar,Gemini & Sanjeevani)
• Keep track of game time and notify the referee and scorer.
• Collaborate with other officials and make final decision during disputes.
• Submit a match report detailing any incidents, penalties, and final scores
• Provide feedback to players and coaches if necessary.

Match Referees Duties (2):

• Officiate the match, enforcing all rules and ensuring fair play.
• Signal the start and end of raids, tackles, and timeouts.
• Award points for successful raids and tackles based on the rules.
• Adjudicate disputes and issue penalties when necessary.
• Ensure player safety and intervene if aggressive or unsafe play occurs.
• Communicate decisions clearly to players and other officials.
• Collaborate with the other officials to make accurate decisions.

Scorer Duties (1):

• Maintain score sheet.
• Set up the scoring system, ensuring it functions correctly.
• Keep track of points scored by each team, updating the scoreboard promptly.
• Communicate with the referee to confirm points awarded for each play.
• Announce the scores at the end of each round.
• Announce the score at the last 3 minutes of the match
• Prepare a final scorecard for official records.
• Receive the official and captains signature
• Announce the result of the match

Recorder Duties (1):

• Maintain record sheet
• Verify player rosters and numbers with team officials.
• Note the raiders’ chest numbers in each raid.
• Note the players involved in successful raids and tackles.
• Record any penalties and player substitutions accurately.
• Communicate with the referee and scorer to confirm raiding sequence.
• Manage the countdown during player raids and timeouts.
• Be vigilant about game interruptions, pausing the clock as necessary.

Line Judges Duties (2):

• Make the players sit in resting box according the order of out and revival.
• Identify the infringement of end line cross rule and make them out.
• Communicate with the chief judge and referee to confirm violating rules during the match.
